The Pos-Graduation in Psychology Program (Masters Level), proposed by Universidade Federal do Rio Grande, had its proposal approved by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes) in December 20th, 2018, during the 182th Reunião do Conselho Técnico-Científico da Educação Superior (CTC-ES), that took place in Brasília. The first Masters class began its activities in August, 2019. New classes will begin in the second semester of the current year.

The goal in funding this masters degree is of stricto sensu and intends to form teachers and searchers that are able to promote the advancement of the knowledge of Psychology engaged with social and community’s development.
